I have read everything I can find on Pets, including which are capable of becoming pets, etc.

I read that they are more easily tamed if they are wounded or weakened. But how do I go about this process? If I click on a creature, my character doesn't pet it, it KILLS it.

Please give me some hints or advice, I will appreciate it.

Try hitting the monster you are trying to tame barehanded then when its half way dead click on the tame button. That should make it easier for you.

Are you a Venomancer and have the tame skill? If you click on tame, you'll stop attacking.

The icon that _blackrose_ has is for a bunny venomancer :).

The best way is to usually, slightly damage your mob, either using your skills, weapon or pet then casting the Tame Pet spell. If the monster is a very small level compared to you, unequip your weapon and attack barehanded (the punching is funny) then tame once the health of the mob is reduced - I think this is what _blackrose_ was sugesting :).

    Good luck taming your pet!
