Does having Winged Blessing increase ranged damage?

Hi peeps! b:pleased

I am currently level 27 and even though I'm frequently doing quests, I do not have enough spirit points to train skills that i want, so I'm just getting the main skills, and I was wondering If I should get Winged Blessing? I know that Archers get increased damage depending on how far they are away from the mob based on a percentage system (Farthest is 100% damage and decreases as they get closer, right?). So what if i get Winged Blessing? it increases total ranging distance so does that mean it does more damage? like if it says +2 meters = 120% damage? Or am i just dreaming and it still does only 100% damage lol b:laugh

Besides that, can anyone post useful Archer guides, builds, and skill path links? That would greatly be appreciated!

I don't know if it increases the damage because you are farther than normal with winged blessing, but you should still get it anyway. It gives monsters a harder time reaching you, giving you more time to nuke them with all of your skills before they get close. Even if you still do 100% damage, it gives you more room to do more damage over time.

also i dont think you get weaker and weaker as they get closer exactly...

its just if they get within x.xx distance of you then your dmg on them will be reduced

you can see what the 'minimum effective range' is by looking at the stats of your specific weapon.. depending on the type of weap. it should be between 4.5 and 5.5 [by the way, if you attack while flying you do reduced damage as well]

so, to answer your original question, and from my personal experience, no. you get absolutely zero damage boost from that range-boosting skill, but obviously it gives you that extra few meters where you can hit them for 100% without needing to kite 2 thumbs up. every archer should max

Definitely get Winged Blessing!

In later levels alot of Bosses start to AoE. While my party gets their bum whipped good I stand far behind them, nuking the mob without it's AoE being able to reach me.

Furthermore, the farther I am away, the longer mobs need to reach me, the more powerful arrows I can shoot
