GM Please consider this my warning that if I see another fake guild winning bidding wars I will leave this server and I don't think I will be alone. I don't like to make threats, but Ascension Guild on Lost City server was completely screwed over by your decision. You have let the guilty off with a 2 week slap on the wrist and have given no reparations to the innocent. Please reconsider.

I already told the GM's here about this issue before CB started. At the time they where full of confidence about being able to work something out.

The reality however is that most likely this version of the game will end up the same as all the others, where the guild with the most money will eventually own all the territory.

So much for GMs trying to get people to trust them when all they can do is just say... hey.. we punished them.. isn't that all you wanted?

**** no.. I want compensation... if a man robbed me, I want my stuff back and him to go to jail.. its not just him going to jail..

Okay, as an outsider to this situation not knowing what happened aside from the obvious (Ascension got blocked from bidding on a territory by a fake guild), can someone enlighten me as to some of the mechanics of what exactly you lost?

I thought that if you were outbid, just like in the auction house, your losing bid was returned. Is that correct? (I really don't know, because I have never been involved in a TW)

http://www.perfectworld.com/guide/feature/territory look under bidding. The winner gets 90% of bid back .... all others get ... well Jack.

    edit: Oops!
Upon deciding which territory your guild has set it's eyes on, you must then bid for the right to fight for said territory. Speak with your local Battle Coordinator between Wednesday 7:00pm and Thursday 7:00pm (Pacific Time) to place a bid.

If your guild wins the Territory War, then your guild leader will receive 90% of the bid back. If your guild loses the Territory War, then your bid will be lost.
this is not as clear as I thought :(
Perhaps the greatest secret to getting along with others lies in learning to respect their opinion(s) even while you disagree with them.

I believe those rules start applying once your guild wins the bid and the right to goto war. If your guild wins the bidding, and you win the war, the guild leader gets 90% back (hopefully to share with the guild!!)

If you win the bid and fight the war, but lose, then you don't get your money refunded (obviously because then there would be no risk of bidding and losing).

But, I do believe that if two guilds are bidding on the same land, the guild that didn't win the bidding war receives all of their bid back. Thus, the only tangible loss is the lack of participating in a TW for one week, and a potential loss of 10 mil. Though this might seem like a jaw dropping amount right now, 10 mil spread out among participants, plus some left over to ensure bidding for the following week, 10 mil disappears quickly. But since all of their bid money got returned, financially, they are right where they were before bidding started, albeit, other guilds may have increased their income by 10 mil.

Again, while this may seem like the end of the world right now, putting Ascension (and yes guys, it does suck that a cowardly guild made you their victim and I feel your pain seeing all of this) behind the proverbial "8-ball" in terms of immeadiate bidding power, TW is FAR from over.

Just attack and keep attacking. If you are strong enough to win against one of those guilds that "jumped ahead" by 10 mil, then it draws you closer or equal to them as you take their lands. If you aren't strong enough to take them, I strongly suggest you get stronger, as they will eventually be coming whether you like it or not.

Such is the fatal beauty of Territory Wars. Be strong enough not only to take what you want, but strong enough to defend that which you own!

Let loose the dogs of war!!b:victory

I do not think the GMs or the devs for that matter have the power to reverse the TW decision. Depending on the code it might be a task thats only reversible by Beijing. It is not as easy as you think.
