Flying mount speed

I got my "Wave Pacer" flyer last night after doing my level 30 quest for it. I was like "Finally, I can get from place to place much faster".... until I noticed it only gives a +0.5 meter per second movement increase.

Yes, I admit it beats having to run through groups of monsters and all but I was hoping for at least double or maybe triple movement speed. Right now, it still feels like the same speed (to me) as if I was on the ground. Is there a way to increase the basic flying speed without buying a faster mount from the item shop?

    yeah buy wind widgets but dont know how they work never used them before but the WW's are cash shop to otherwise there is not a other way to fly faster. (yeah buy faster flying mount from other players)
