I am not a very good writer, but I wrote a short story explaining the Cut seen that would really be good for this Event. I will give you the Story 1st then explain the event.

The Siege Of Archasaur

I was just a child when the war ended and the new war began. The Elves, Humans, And Untamed were taken totally by surprise, as the Wraiths gained strength and started their advance across our Perfect world. This is a story from my perspective, As I watched every9one I know fight a hopeless and seemingly unattainable win on the battlefield.

During the reintegration of the 3 races into Archasaur, there were bound to be problems stemming from the war. Fights, and small skirmishes broke out through the city like a plague, that is until this day.

It was a cool, and quiet morning. The mist seem to hang in the wind like it was hung there. The no birds, or beasts to watch for. It was as if the Hill had just gobbled them up. We usually had to fight off some blobs, that were quite frail, and other small nuisance wraiths as my father and I farmed for herbs outside the city. Butm there were none.

Then without warning the Horn of War( a Gigantic horn of a magical beast slain during the building of the city) was sounded. It droned through the hills and trees like a fast moving fog.

At once my father scooped me and the herbs up like an eagle and proceeded to fly over the Massive and formidable wall of the great city.

My father, a member of General Chan's army quickly gathered his armor and weapon. In the background you could hear the screams and cries of children, being hurried inside by their mothers, and the relentless clanking of a army readying for battle.

We heard it. The pain in my ears was so terrible, I could only think of blood pouring from my them, and slowly dieing from the pain. Everyone was on their knees screaming from the sharp, piercing sound emanating from the foothills west of Archasaur.

As fast as it started it ended. The low vibrating rumble started, low at first but increasingly louder. The sound of a million, if not more, feet hitting the ground at once. The animal, and wraith sounds could barely be heard over the rumbling. The residents of Arch, knew this was the end and panic ensued in the city. All the while the massing army of the 3 classes mumbled amongst themselves about the impending doom.

Then the sound changed. We started to here, the trees breaking, and it was a terrible sound, the sound of death, riding toward you with no apparent way to stop it. As we looked over the Horizon someone shouted, “LOOK, the Trees are leaving us!” as soon as that was spoken, The General said ” Hold, Steadfast, quiet in the ranks”.

It was as if someone cast a mute spell on the whole army, as the trees directly in front of the gate gave way to a unimaginable force of wraiths that were bent on total destruction of the Perfect world.

Now, after the event, all registered players would be put into a TW like instance, where they battle, to the death, the wraith army. you get normal Exp for fighting, and normal drops. But, If the Arch army wins, they get 10k exp, 5k sp, and 10k Coin. and a few of the players, picked at random, will get the rares of drops. one way to get good gear into the game.

The Wraith army would be made up of a great number of Low LVL elites, Mini bosses, and a couple of big bosses.

I have to go At the moment, but will finish this tomorro.

Not a bad story & a really good idea.

I'd like to see the GM's figure a way to do this. It would make for an excellent event.

good idea, though that rewards would be unsignificantly low for some players, i would like more like 25, or 35k exp if its long depending on your lvl...

nice history too... i hope this get implemented lol

flamers never mind them..

its awesome and kewl PW needs some cut scenes animations and trailers really it would make it look a whole lot better and more cut scenes will make the player actually remember that he is in a story and a game not a PVP world .

ppl might actually start reading the quests again I stopped after a while since it got boring and I didnt feel related to the story..

I think the story is very important in any game including MMOs this one has a nice background story would make it better to be actually visual ppl will relate.

Dubious, they would have said so if that were the case. I think it's just another one of those standard events.
