Questions I could not find the answers to,

Hello,

I am a new player, never played PW for longer than an hour in any version and i have a few questions.

I did try the search feature but seem to get topis unrelated to the key terms i serch for:/
I did read the Guids and forums and either did not understand them properly or the quetsions i have were not covered in them. As i play will come back and add more Questions so please feel free come back and see if you can help me :D Thanks for you help in advance.



1. How long has this version of the game been out?

2. Are all versions of Perfect worlds have the same Monsters, Quests and itmes?

3. Is there a plan for updates and new content or is this just a graphics heavy chat room with minigames (quests)?

4. Is this game still in open beta?
If this is Open Beta....
A. .Will my characters get deleted when it goes live?
B. What will happen when the game does go "Live"?

5. How do i target myself for heals?

6. Are there Aoe spells?

7. How do you Target more than one monster?

*New* 8. Do monsters ever auto agro or is this something only at lower lvls?

    If you are talking about PW International-- Open Beta have been alive since September 2nd, 2008.

    2. Are all versions of Perfect worlds have the same Monsters, Quests and itmes?

    PWI and PW-MY has different names for each things from what i was told.-- I'm also a PW new player. I'm not from PW-MY server or anything.


    4. Is this game still in open beta?

    Everything that has been owned in Open Beta... won't be lost. You will keep everything once OB(open beta) end.

    B. What will happen when the game does go "Live"?

    No clue.

    3. How do i target myself for heals?

    Targeting yourself isn't necessary. Just press a healing skill and it will heal you even though you don't have anyone targeted. I am Cleric myself.

    4. Are there Aoe spells?

    Yes, there are couple of AoE spells.. I'm sure every classes have some AoE. (not sure about other classes but I can tell you about cleric's) Buffs/AoE Heal/AoE offensive (Siren's Kiss) Not sure about others... I haven't got that far yet.

    5. How do you Target more than one monster?

    I doubt this is possible but AoE works.

    Cool thanks. Since this is The PWI forums i figured i could get awawy with saying this verson but now that you say that i wonder Does this forums service All versions or somthing?

    If you have a monster selected when you click to heal, don't worry about healing the monster by accident; the game will heal you instead.

    But keep in mind that if you have an ally currently selected, if you attempt to heal when they're out of range, your character will move closer (so be aware of monsters nearby!).

    Personally, I've found the best thing for an Elf Cleric to do is to join a party and fly overhead, healing/buffing squad members as necessary.
