PW wont update. =/ (router ports?)

I've had to update the game manually each time there's an update except for the last one. But now, it won't update passed 9.

I try downloading it, but it keeps saying it failed.

I looked on the downloads page,
http://www.perfectworld.com/download/client
but there's no update passed the 2nd to last update.

I know it'll take a while for the new update to
be added to the downloads page, but even
so, I'm wondering if anyone knows why the game
won't update on its own? Why it keeps failing, I mean.

Is there a certain port I need to open on my router for
the update to work correctly on auto-update?

    Try opening port 29000. In addition, here are the IPs that we use for our game so that you can make sure they are unblocked:

    Cool, opening port 29000 seemed to solve the problem.
    The update's almost complete. =)


    er.. I just now get an error.
    It looks at about 90% done.
    but maybe it'll finish without an error on resume.

    its stuck at b03.dds now. =/



    Manual update is available.
    I'ma use that, it'll be quicker.

    i cant get the updates to work manualy or auto update i have also tried downloading the elements and tasks data files here on the forums however i think i get no connection to the server at all i cant ping the update server or game servers i have opened port 29000 in my router have no anti virus software running and have no firewalls up atm and i still get nothing please help

    Try tracert -ing the patch server, Truenme, and tell us how far you get. ICMP-8s are blocked for security purposes internally.

    im not sure how to do the trace if you give me the cmd and the ip i will trace it for you and post the results

    To do a tracert from the command window, type "tracert 64.74.217.11" (no quotation marks).

    Windows Tracerts are blocked at the border of our server farm; there's too much potentially for ICMP-8s to be used as weapons in the hands of the evil.

    That said, your connectivity patterns look fine, and you should have connectivity for downloads, nevermind downloads for the manual patcher.

    i dont have a problem downloading the patch files i have downloaded them i have 1-18 however once i use that file, the client will not connect to the server

    still says i have game ver. 1
