Macro Lag/Bug?

I just recently started playing this game as a wizard, and have put together several combos (macros) of spells. I often have the problem where the combo will just stop without finishing. I'm not out of mana, the spell is not on cooldown, and I'm not being interrupted. I believe this is a bug or lag issue - has anyone else had this problem as well?

If you put the same spell twice in a row, chances are that's the problem. And yes, it's a cool down thing. When you make combo's just ensure that if you put Spell A in slot 1, that you don't put Spell A in slot 2. You get it...

You could also be interrupted by a mob, hit a move key, hit the combo key too many times therefore it will try to run itself again (I think....I get this a lot).

Not a bug, just common sense.

All skills have a Cooldown timer, so you can't place 2 of the same skills back to back.

For interrupts, my macro justs moves to the next skill if it's not on Cooldown.

Lol no, it is not a cooldown issue... I have the sense not to put the same spell twice in a row on a macro. I always test a combo manually before putting it into a macro to avoid cooldown problems. And it does not fail every time - just occasionally the combo will stop - usually it works fine. I guess this is not a common issue, as none of those things mentioned are the case. Anyway, I'll keep trying and see if it gets any better.

you will get interrupted and stop the whole marco / 1 spell in the macro if a monster attacks you in the process.

I was going to post a reply... then I realized, you would likely reply in anger and insult me, to which I'd most likely respond with a wittier comment or slay you with a macro and then, onlookers, seeing that comments had been made, would interpret the traffic as interest, thus earning you attention you don't deserve for your **** post. So, when you DON'T see a comment from me, THAT is me saying "FAIL" in a much more effective manner.

I have a cleric friend with the same issue when usin macros, since he easily gets interrupted the macros doesnt work very well for him. Im not sure what causes the interrupts, since Im an hybrid AE and never noticed this problem when mobs are hitting me. And it should have to do with phys res, since he got almost the same as me with all the buffs and so on.

Next time it happens check your chi(yellow bar up top) if its empty chances are you ran out of chi mid combo and couldn';t perform the next spell and that broke the chain
