im making a BM and i want to know what is the best weapons for PvE. based off of other threads my guess would be axes or spears. as for stats my guess would be enough str and dex for gear and the rest into Vit. PLZ correct me if im wrong. and if it IS spears and axes which one is better.

    Axes are generally considered the best because of their wide range of 360 AoE's.

    Your stat build is more for a tanker type warrior.I'd recommend that if you use axe you use a 3 str 1agi 1 vit ratio. If you use spears then going with requirements isn't a bad choice.

    i think it is just a personal preference, blades and swords are fast and accurate but deal much less damage than Axes/hummers which are not very accurate, spears are kind of in the middle.
    however, you can soulGem any weapon to rectify its weakness, for example, you can add a (60,000) soulGem to a hummer or Axe to give it +50 accuracy...

    also, the weapon you wanna go with will dictate somehow the skills you are going to invest into, just look at the skill tree and you will see that every weapon type has its own hierarchy of available skills.

    vit is con... or the other way
    str is str
    int is int....

    people keep on changing to different words. Gets confusing sometimes =/
