What does the levels of mounts help with? And how do they gain levels?

    They gain 10 base exp every 10 minutes you sit on them. Depending on their loyalty, this can rise or fall. If their loyalty is at least 500, they'll gain 150% exp, or 15 exp per 10 minutes. Each level up they get raises their speed by 0.1m/s. So at a max level of 11, a mount will be 1m/s faster than the same mount at level 1.
