Asking for help v2

Tried Technical Support and got nowhere, so maybe I can get a solution here:

I have East Asian Languages installed, and the stars on items show up when they're in my inventory. When they're on the ground, however, the boxes are there. It's only slightly annoying, so if anyone knows of a solution, I'll be grateful for it.
