You have to speak with your trainer in order to unlock new skills or to upgrade existing ones. Skills will cost your both money (in game coins) and skill points, which you gain via questing and killing monsters.

There are class specific trainers in all of the main cities. In order to locate them simply use you Coordinates Assistance system (aka GPS). You can access this by clicking on the green icon below your mini-map located in the upper right corner of your screen (it's the right-most icon below the mini map). Clicking this icon will display a form. On the left side of this form you have many preset locations available depending on your current location, the class trainers should be listed here if you are in a city that has them. Simply double click on any preset to add a way-point to your map with an arrow pointing you in the right direction.

Just another note regarding the coordinates assistance system: You can also manually enter a set of coordinates on the right hand side of the window in this format: XXX YYY (X and Y coordinates are separated by a space). After hitting enter the game will ask you to give a name for your new way-point and then it will be added to your map.

This can be very useful! For example, whenever I change levels, the first thing I do is go to my Quest window and click the button that searches for new quests. I grab the coordinates that are given and enter these into my GPS. I do this repeatedly until I have entered all of the quest givers coordinates into my GPS. Then I plot the best route to get all of these quests in the most efficient way, removing the way-points from my GPS as I visit each of them in turn. Only once I have all of my quests do I actually start questing as often times different quests will require you to hunt the same monsters so you can save a lot of time by doing it this way.

In plume there is an NPC called Cleric Trainer you go see that NPC to learn/upgrade your skills

Click on the green button on the right side of the mini map, from the list of Presets on the left, select Cleric Trainer, youll get a blue arrow pointing you to where he is (in your sreen, like the yellow quest arrow).
