How do full mage veno's fair in PvP? I mean I'm fine with PvE because the monsters just attack my pet. But of course in PvP I imagine someone would ignore my pet and go straight after me, and with my little defense I can't imagine myself living very long.
So do any mage veno's out there have any tips for staying alive in PvP?

Well besides going for light armor. I mean I see venos in mage gear all the time, they have to survive in PvP somehow :P

Then apparently you've never gotten past level 60 ona Human Warrior.

Once you reach level 59 and aquired your cultivation, you will recieve a new skill that will reduce ALL damage taken by 75% and reflect 200% of all physical close-range combat. So basically, Warriors, and barbarians. This skill lasts for 15 seconds.

Now while the warrior says "Oh, no problem, i'll just run around until it wears off!" This is where you get your pet to chase him around and ripping bite at any chance you get, and casting Parasite Nova (I don't know the name in this version yet) will keep your enemy glued down for 5 seconds at level 1 Nova and do massive damage. So, in that 15 seconds you would have killed the warrior, or damaged them beyond repair.

Also, in the PW-MY version, my WF had a build of 3 int 2 con per level. And 3 int 1 str and 1 con per two levels. This faired great, as Venomancers recieve 15 hitpoints per Con point, which in the other mage classes you get only 10.

I could defeat any class very easily, minus Venomancers with the same build as me, lol.

If you have questions just reply here.

apparently you never pvped a warrior that knew what they were doing.

all warriors need to do is fast run away while venos cast this skill, then return to slay the weak veno while this skill is in its cooldown.

    QQ veno.

ps. your **** pets are easy to kill, and can't outrun a warrior's fast run.

All you need is a nice survival rate, either wear heavy armor(must have high upgrades on heavy armor or else you're still easy to kill) or full con.
At lvl 90+ it's pretty simple against warriors of the same level. All you need to do is use heaven/hell spark eruption ---> eat immune stun pot ---> cast out your skills

I've done it so many times even full con wrs cannot survive that, my weapon was a +8 luan.

Of course there are ways to counter it.

yeah you're right - venos get 12hp per vit.

that noob veno was confusing her/his class with warrior hp per vit (which is 15).

Yeah. 12 hp per con. Parasite nova is 2 chi. Bramble array is 2 chi. Good luck casting one right after the other. Parasite nova seals for a few seconds, not stun. Seal = no attacks/skills can be used, but they can still run around. As soon as you use array, a warrior can just lion roar then gtfo before you recover from the stun.

Pets die in 2 hits from any class.

On my fox in MY, my strategy against warriors was take to the air to counter their sprints, then just kite as much as I could. Running around stupidly while the fly chases with ripping isn't bad, and once they focus on the bee you can start attacking. Stun pots would be pretty awesome though, since that's what warriors pretty much have to rely on.

I'd love to rip into some naive players in this server :D
venos always have the upperhand in 1v1 situations due to their skills are aimed to disable 1 opponent at a time, and the annoying pet.
I've been pking with wf well into the 90s, most of the time i take the fight to the sky with my sawfly, the only time my pet ever dies is against a wr that keeps on using aoe or against a wb taht just used perdition.

the ultimate skill isn't for 1v1, it's for large scale fights to seal multiple enemies(it silences and seals, so you cannot attack or move). It actually sucks for 1v1 because if it doesnt hit the 67% chance then you're scewed big time, and the damage it provides is very low, only a little more than ironwood parasite while it takes 2 full bars of vigor and 1 more second to charge.

Sorry, these things are hard to remember.

Buying a vigor pot isn't that hard, nor crafting one.

Parasite Nova DOES paralyse your enemy. It's magic's stun. Test it yourself.

So hence, research, the both of you, before you post.

Now, using the level 59 warrior dash skill WILL provide immunity to stuns and paralyses. So you may have a chance using that technique.

Also the AquaBarrier Dharma has a running speed over 10ms. I'm not sure how fast a warriors dash gets, but nonetheless we have a stun spell as well. Unless you're using that level 59 dash I mentioned, we can disrupt you moving for a second using our stun, which by the way does good damage too.

Oh. You're right, it also paralyzes. I never bother with it since it takes 2 fury. And honestly, if you're going to use a vigor pot for that, you may as well just use an antistun pot instead, which will completely **** the warrior =|
