What pet do I use before level 17/18? My level 10 sawfly seems to have better stats than anything else I can train.

And when a sawfly attacks a land animal, does the damage get cut in half, like how if a flying archer attacks a land pet, their attacks are cut in half?

    Since you're on the PVP server, you may want to roll with the scorpion as well. You can drop it at level 17/18 for the golem if you're short on space in your pet backpack, but it has the potential to become a decent pvp pet later on due to it's high attack. Wolves work just fine until 17ish too, but you don't see many of them beyond level 30.

    And yes, an air pets damage are reduced on ground targets.

    Like demise said, get yourself a scorpion. They may not be aesthetically pleasing but at higher levels, they deal massive damage.

    I found the level 7 man-bull monster to be a good tank.
    88 FIRE! An "anti-tank" projectile, accompanied by an AC-130 are on their way to ensure insanity.
