Gaining Guild Members

Seeing as advertising on the forums was a terrible bust, with a guild that is "holier than thou" breathing down my neck and wrecking my day around the time I woke up, I would like to attempt to gain some ideas on how to gather members other than posting around on the forums.

I don't really have friends,
Advertising on the forums just isn't cutting it,
I have a lot of spare time.

Any suggestions on how to gain more members for a very new guild that only has a good 4 members or so?

I would really appreciate it.

    buy global shouts.

    camp noob areas.

do FBs and when you succeed, ride the success wave and ask your guildless team members.

Noob areas are a good place to pick up guild members,
although I would advise you to make sure they are
not just worthless noobs who are wasting your time...
