highlands tortoise as pet? (i have one)

Well i tought that i should get a pet for fighting in water typed areas, so i tamed a Highlands Tortoise in the rivers.

Now when i when to the pet trainer and i was going to check for skill for my first pet i got via quest and got idea to check the tortoise too, but there is my problem...

Is there a way to learn pet that you tame in water?

any recommended creature for fights in water?

    There is a water pet trainer in Archosaur. He is in the water in the area with the ships leading out to the bay, at the bottom of a ramp. You can summon water pets there and teach them skills.

    oh thanks alot i was afraid i tame a pet that shouldnt be skilled up.

    Oh while on pet topic, havent search for but ill ask anyway..

    How to i removed/delete a pet from my current collection? i think i read something about turing them back to eggs, im right?

    There should be, when you talk to Pet Trainer a 'revert' or something like that button. Then, drag the picture of the pet you want to revert into an egg into the box and click 'revert', then you should have an egg in you inventory and an extra space in your pet bag ^^.

    the phrase you are looking for is 'restore pet egg' and it is the option just below 'hatch pet egg'

    Thanks, but i sorta figure that one out when i was going to hatch and egg fore a new pet.

    Now i have that tortoise in my bank atm so yeah, thanks for the help and effort to replay,:D

    A thing to remember when putting your pet back in the egg is that all Loyalty is lost. So when you go to hatch them they have 0 Loyalty and you need to build that back up.
