Item Leveling?

Does anyone know if it is possible to lvl up items instead of buying new ones every couple of lvls or so?

    I've actually never scene a game that leveled up your items other than conqueor online with metors. I believe that the only way to get new items is through quests, your better off just using quest/drop equipement then upgrading anyways since at levels 1-30 you get alot of item drops (thats my take on it)

    Ya this game is surprisingly A LOT like Conquer Online except it is fully 3d. Im surprised there is no item lvling system like in Conquer. And wtf is up no Shields?
