How safe is pay direct with credit card ?

I have noticed Google checkout has now been removed and pay direct with a credit card without a paypal account has been added.

On the page to enter my details there is no padlock at the bottom to indicate a secure site.

How safe do you think this method is ? It dosnt mention encryption or any of the usual security I see when I make online purchases ?

    I'd say its pretty safe it is a company your dealing with you know? not some random website, second you'd probably see lots of people complaining by now if it wasn't.
