Location for pets

Im been playing for some hours now and I've heard that the ideal pets for starter are: sawfly, and golems. and i was wondering where do i get these pets at? ANY ONE?

The Monster Drops one can be used to get the coordinates for your pets. The golem is near Ethersword Volcano and the Sawfly is close to the Elven Bamboo village.
