new patch manual release?

Well going by the launcher, we have a new patch and it gets stuck at the tasks.data file.
since theres still some difficulties with the autopatcher can we have the manual patch when the autopatch is released, not afew days after or next major patch?

    after trying someone elses suggestion i have gotten it to work, simply find the file that its failing on and add a backup on the end of the extension eg: "examplefile.dllbackup"
    in my case it was tasks.data

    I have the same issue as well and there are a few new post regarding this same issue
    its insane if we have to go through this everytime they release a new patch :(

    I'd wet my pants if they released a new Manual patch for the recent patch.

    yes I truly enjoy this game...but this is a little aggravating to seem to happen every patch.
    PLEASE any and all help is welcomed

    wow..after trying to update it for the 12th time..it went through, I guess I just needed to whine a bit

    So the French were right, everything's better with a little whine

    If anyone else is still having trouble, I threw together a quick manual patch before I left the house. This'll take you from Version 5 to Version 7.
