factions? & parties

what exactly are factions? how do you get into a faction?
do people lvl together in this game? if so, around what level?

    well a faction is a like a guild or clan cant remember term for rpg side of games.

    parties here are called squads and well being in a squad means you help each other kill big targets like bosses or stronger monsters but exp is shared among ppl who did damage

    depending of leader drop pickup is random or free but gold is split among players of same squad no matter where you are

    Parties/squads are also very handy when doing quests. The quest monsters that party members kill near you also go towards your own total quest count, if you're doing the same quest/killing the same monster. It's always faster to join/make a party when you're doing 'Kill x monsters' or 'Collect x things from monsters' quests.
