A Few questions from a newbie!

Just started today and I've read the new person guides at the top this thread.

I haven't played anything like this before, these are my questions:

> How do I invite people to squad, leave squads etc ?

>I dropped one of my ammo sets into my shortcut bar and it was over my original bow, which now seems to have been deleted from my inventory... Will I need that ever again?

>Can anyone recommend a good guild to me? one that'll have a noob, willing to learn/read up!

>In certain populated areas there seems to be quite a lot of people standing near good mob areas quickly grabbing stuff after you do the work! aren't things that drop reserved for the person who did the work? If not, is there an easier way to pick up things, ie a keybind of some kind.

> I found myself stuck without ammo for some time, or so it said and the 2 bow attacks on the bar were blanked out. When I went into my inventory I found a pack of arrows, is it because these arrows were not relevant to my level etc that the attacks remained blanked out?

Sorry if these are the 'same olds'

Thanks in advance :)

    >press T (or ctrl+t)

    >no you wont need it you can just find or buy another one. i havent heard of putting a wep in the hot bar o.o

    >Look in the guild Banter section

    >if you killed it (you.. yourself truley killed it) then nobody can pick up your items for some amount of time. by you killing it means you attacked first

    >buy bolts at the blacksmith (i think... not sure)

not completely certain without seeing the arrows involved, you may be correct. However you do know that in this game you have to actively equip arrows that they will not automatically be used? Right-clicking or maybe it's double left clicking will tell you if the ammo type is supported by your weapon's level/type.
Perhaps the greatest secret to getting along with others lies in learning to respect their opinion(s) even while you disagree with them.

Iirc if you open up emotes (hotkey e) there is a 'pick up' option that can be placed on hotbar. Btw the game puts it there in f4 when you start a character. And yes drops are protected for a period of time in favor of the person credited with the kill, not certain myself if this is highest damage, last hit, or first hit. But if it stays on the ground past it's protected time it is fair game.
