Client won't start please help

When I start the client it will check for updates and tells me that everything is verified, but when I hit start I am getting thie error.

"Application failed to intialize properly (0xc0000005). Click ok to terminate the application."

What can I do? :confused:

    Try this first.

    Start -> Run -> type in cmd -> type in sfc /scannow. You are gonna need your copy of Windows in your cd/dvd drive.
