something wrong with start button

I have installled the game with no problem. Gone to the starting menu pressed the start button to go in and then something pops up with jibberish written on it and the menu screen disappers. The icon is still there and i can still go to the start menu but cant really do anything with the start button or it happens again. Could anyone please Help. Or at least tell me whats going on.:confused:

    Install the East-Asian Language Pack, either from the Microsoft Website, or from your Windows CD.
