Our guild was established with this phrase in mind.

"Remember the death"

"Remember the end"

"Remember that one day, all that you have in this world will be gone, taken away"

"Life is short"

"Everything is eventual"

With this in mind, Memento Mori was created. We wish to ensure that our lives are worth living, especially in this wonderful world separate from our own lives. Perfect World. Our guild purpose is to provide for others, to help others in need, to ensure that these short, imperfect lives of ours is at the very least a happy one.

Though yes, other guilds are more than likely far more prestigious than ours, have far more people than we few whom wish to provide a happy and fulfilling life in Perfect World, and have far more funding and kiss-ups, we still wish to try to bring out own experiences to try and help others, to make a truly "Social" experience.

Thus far, guilds have been wrapped around territory wars, around leveling the fastest, around certain age groups whom may quite possibly be "more mature" than the other age groups, whom fly around with their thick wallets and their empty smiles, their idle laughter. We wish to provide something far different than that, which is why we have only one prerequisite.

We do not want you to be a certain level.

We don't want you to be a certain race.

We don't want you to be a certain gender.

We don't want you to be a certain age.

Our only prerequisite for joining Memento, is simply what we consider to be the characteristic trait known as...

"Maturity"

Now, you may be wondering, what is it that we consider to be mature?

No, it isn't being 18+ years, that would be ignorant of us.


To be mature is to...

+ Acknowledge that though age does have some things to do with maturity, it is not a deciding factor on whether or not one is mature.

+ Acknowledge that bickering and fighting will never, ever lead towards anywhere good.

+ Acknowledge that race as well as gender aren't factors when it comes to people's personalities as well as whether or not they are human beings.

+ Acknowledge that sex isn't everything.

+ Acknowledge other people's views and opinions and respect them.

+ Acknowledge that although you as well as your problems aren't the center of the universe.

+ Acknowledge that being the humans that we are, we are prone to mistakes.

+ Acknowledge the fact that vocabulary, as well as punctuation is not predetermined factors that judge whether one is mature or not.

+ Acknowledge that to respect someone and to like them are two different things.

+ Acknowledge that to understand and to know are two different things.

If you believe that you are mature, then feel free to register. You have found your home.

We may not be smoking hundred dollar bills

We may not have a billion players

We may be older than others, or even have far more game experience than everyone else.

But life is far, far too short to not give it a shot.

To not give it a try.

This faction is not about dying, death, or general emo things.

Memento means Remember.

This faction is supposed to be for people with basic maturity.
Maturity means you can usually spell like english is actually your first language.
It means you don't discriminate.
It means you aren't the person who, when you talk, everyone around you wants to kill you.

The faction is mostly about people with this increasingly rare thing called maturity socialize. This means squads, just talking, helping collect items, whatever.

That pretty much covers it.

Edit: Pessimists are technically allowed, depending on the kind of pessimist you are. Are you the realist kind or the kind that makes problems out of nothing?

It is, I would just like to keep things as clear as possible.

Realists are just fine though, I wouldn't make a faction I couldn't join.
