celestone fragments

can anyone explain to me what the celestone fragments do???
ive collected 25 of them and went to the gem merchant and traded them off for this other celestone and im confused on what it does

man there should be an idiot wall list later but for now I let ya slide and just tell you so look:

Celestone Fragments are used to get Mirage Celestones and those are used to Refine you equip you have you can do this at Elder (all elders in any city can be refined at but you can also at Blacksmith as well) however every Refining have one catch it can fail lol there are items called Molds that can save your Refining but I think this Mold can be get only at cashshop (or from players who buyed them at cashshop) if you don't use Mold and you already Refinied good few times and it fails now it be back as if you never refined, also if you collect 3 Earth, 3 Heaven and 3 Human Celestone you also get from those Mirage Celestone

P.S. you can get more Celestone Fragments from doing Solo Quests you get from Guards they ideal for Farming these

Yeah, to be fair, the introductory quest at the gem merchant does tell you how to convert stuff into mirages; but doens't tell you why on earth you would want to do this.

As far as I know, there's no introductory quest for what to do with mirages (though there is some text in the loading screen sometimes about refining)

So, let's add that explanation to the FAQ.

Necro, but you can get them as reward of some quests or buy to other players.

i got 92 celestones and i dont know which gem merchant i should go to?... depressing....

This thread has been necroed so many times, but I do want to answer your question as it is valid. If you are talking about mirage celestones, hold onto them. They are used for refining your gear. You can do a little searching through the forums or ask in the game to find out how that works. If you are talking about celestone fragments, unfortunately the gem merchant no longer converts them to mirages. They currently have no use. You could hold onto them in the hopes that this will change, but I'm not holding my breath and am npc'ing them. As far as the other celestones (earth, human, heaven), make sure you keep at least 10 of each. You'll need them to go sage or demon at level 89.
