What are Mystical Tomes?

In the PW shop there's mystical tomes for sale..
I thought they were the "150% of exp for an hour" things, but as i bought 1, i found out it wasn't.

It only says it's a Material used to create mystical tomes. Haven't got a clue what a tome is.:confused:
