why not for macs?

Okay idk about the rest of you but i love macs:D and i don't think it's fair that i cant play this game (that i hear is great) just because i don't use windows:mad:. So i would like to start something that way we can play this game for mac. Is anyone with me on this?

Well, now that Macintosh has switched Intel processors, supposedly there is a "fix" that will allow you to dual boot into Windows... You could even use desktop themes and icons to make the Windows dual boot look like you're running a Macintosh (and only you would know the difference to someone just looking at your screen.)

Otherwise, because it (and a lot of other entertainment software) uses directx instead of opengl, there is a lot less likelyhood there would be a fan-made port.


And there is also virtualization and virtual machines...

Like june said if you have a Intel Mac you can dual boot with something call "Boot Camp" Or you can try this program called CrossOverGames: http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxgames/ that should let you play any windows game on your intel mac.

I was thinking about getting a nice iMac, and did research on how to play all my windows games (But i still chose PC over Mac =_="), you can also as june said, Use a virtual machines such as Parallels or VMWare. But id suggest trying Boot Camp or the CrossOverGames... but thats just my opinion..

Boot Camp = Dual Booting with Windows and OSX.

Macs are a ripoff. They're almost identical to pcs exept you pay a lot more for what you get.

Boot Camp is not virtualization.
Virtualization/emulation seperates the software from all hardware, thus no direct access to the gpu.
