Teaming Question

I'm a totaly new mmorpg player.so I'm just runnig around.so I like to know how can I team with other players (with the same level as mine).to do quests or killing monsters...!
I've heard that teams gain the same exp for one quest /killing.IS IT RIGHT?

    If you want to make a squad (team) hit T and add them, or ask them to invite you into their squad.

    As for exp gained, no idea.
