how do I lvl up blacksmithing?

I wanna know how to get it to lvl 1(it says "prof 0/20" right now)

    when you get to lvl 5, you get quests that enable you to learn the skills needed to start blacksmithing (and make armor and accesories and pharmacist stuff). then when your proficiency is high enough, you go to the elder of any city and he can upgrade your skill for you.

    Essentially, he means once you get the skill you need to create things with it.

    Your crafting skills start out at level 1when you have done the quests to get them.

    Then you have to craft 10 level 1 items. After that, visit the Elder again and he will upgrade your [insert craft] to level 2.

    so its basicly ones you get skill to manufacture/craft/blacksmith/etc. youi need to use them to gain on proficiency and of course you need cash and spirit points as well to finaly try to lvl one of these skills at Elder
