PvP Rules?

Can someone please explain the Exact PvP rule set on the PVP server?

How do you go red?

Are there different colors? like purple for hitting back?

Can you drop items? and if so how easily and which ones (equipped, rares etc)

What is this I heard about Optional pvp? Can you kill someone and then flag off?

    Purple if you hit already RED PKer

    Yes you can drop items, believe its random

    Option is in PVE, ability to turn PVP encounters on and off - Or do you mean 1v1 Duels? Cause thats something completely different
    Lead me not into temptation... I can find that myself
