Game was developed for hardware 4+ years ago in China.
When new hardware comes out, there will always be games and apps that are going to have compatibility issues, or not run at all on the new hardware.
32bit sticks around for as long as it does, because it works and is stable for the majority of computer users and developers. People can more easily program for it, then for 64bit, and at a lower cost and resources.
The game is FREE to play. You do not have to buy anything, and can still be successful in playing it and leveling.
PWI is not the only older game to not run well on 64 bit hardware.
We're sorry for any issues you are having.Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

Oh, I am not saying you have to buy things. I might have said that wrong.
I was meaning, the game is free but PWE still makes money off it through Zen. So there is a reason for PWE to continue further development and improvement.
With this being free to play I do think you kind of get what you get but when you throw in the money made from Zen it changes the game a little. Bottom line, if players update their hardware to a point where the game cannot be played well, then Zen sales will decline. If they want the sales to continue into the future, they need to future proof the game.
Unless, of course, they are just letting the game run its life out on the old technology and or they care releasing PW2.
As for Vista 64, I think you are missing the point. After testing on both Vista 64 and XP 32 I can say without a doubt my current issue is not OS related because I am experiencing the problem on them both. So it is either hardware incompatibility or out-of-date coding based on SPECIFIC hardware ... which is the same as hardware incompatibility real. lol
Edit: Btw, I am not really hating on PWE. Just trying to figure out the problem and suggesting that if the issue is coding that they look into it if for no other reason than ensuring PW is around and playable for years to come.0
