    Well, looks like I'm out of luck again. That 015.dds file refuses to download just like the others. I've tried everything I can think of for the moment.

    mine doesn't get stuck.. it says "file download appear error" :( i'll try downloading plex' files and hope that this works, because it seems that i have different problem than the rest of u guys :/

    no. i just "been there" before.
    try any of this:
    1.verify files,
    2.uncheck all option beside "resume the patching" (<-or something familiar)
    3. close and open the patcher many times.
    4. try patching as many times as you can.
    5. after few failed point 4, do point 3... and again.

    also remember - i used that rar file from Plex

    wahhh mine was the same earlier[elements.data] now its stuck at tasks.npc v.v mee is very unlucky . i tried to repatch about 10+ times =(

    Ever since Plex uploaded those files I put them in the folder, then have been starting and restarting patcher hoping to get it to go through with no luck.

    EDIT: As far as verify goes, it runs for a bit then says it was interrupted. I ahve been scanning through my task manager looking for anything that may interfere as well as turning my firewall off, all to no effect.

    All updated files can be found recorded in this update log;

    \Perfect World International\config\element\update.log

    It'd be very cool if someone who succeeded updating, managed to compile them all into a zip file.
    I would indeed do it myself, but having failed to patch, it's beyond my power.

    Kukai just download Plex rar. and overwrite the existing files or only the task.* one

    still trying to download 015.dds, i think my eyes are beggining to bleed.

    Throw that up as well if u can could u irbis?

    mine isnt working but it gets stuck in the end phase of the update process. Have any ideas on how to fix that?

    try to close the client and re-open it few times. if this doenst help give me the name of the file on which the uptade is stucked
    [lol i hope i will not end like uploading the whole 2.5giga folder for you guys... at least not with my sucky net]

    no prob guys. just tell me where to find that dds files. i searched the whole folder but i cant find any starting 0-

    EDIT: okey i got an idea with that dds file. try to dump this file

    This is the exact same thing that happened in the closed beta. They fixed it for some people (like me), but it looks like the problem creeped up again.:(
    Hopefully they'll fix it soon for open beta.

    Lol, mine gets all the way to the end of 104.dds and then just stops, and resets. What a pain..

    For me every file after 015.dds has frozen so just keep restarting :P I have gotten all the way to 104.dds

    the problem is... i cant find even half of them in my folders O.o this 015.dds file for example. it doesnt exist in /surfaces/maps/. still, my client works fine lol
