having problems connecting to the server please help

ok I have tried everything I have activated my beta key, made an exception on my firewall, waited till open beta because my key didn't work, and I still get the same message every time. I enter my account and password and after 20 not 40 seconds it times out and tells me "unable to connect to server"

Please help me I am very confused :confused:

    Do you need help learning about patching the game, installing it, changing antivirus/firewall settings, changing network settings, learn how to use a computer, keeping your PC maintained and more?

    As far as I know its down for repairs / maint etc. for OB that starts in 1hour 28mins 52seconds.

    Something I have noticed is that when I select a server it does not list the ping or condition it just has an unhelpful --.

    Is this a common problem?
    Will somebody please help me? :(:eek::(

    Did you not read the posts? Servers will go up for open beta at 2pm PSD.

    The servers are not up, so they cannot return a ping request or give you a condition. Try again in an hour and 15 minutes. ;)

    this same problem except open beta has now started....the patcher.exe works fine just when try to log in less than one second both servers cannot connect. I live in a minor US territory...the Virgin Islands, tried I've tried all the suggestions I've found in the forums, any new ones?

    Try this, I had a similar problem It would say server connection failed then take me into the server in hyper mode. If the patch you are trying to install, installed within seconds then it failed to install regardless of what PWI says. In that case reinstall PWI via the Zip file you got when you originally downloaded the game (If none of this works it might mean your ip is banned, or they could be performing maint on the servers right now)

    If you use Firefox go to Tools -> Downloads once that opens up find your Perfect world international zip file in there and right click it then click "Open containing folder" to find out its location so you can re-install it. If you dont have the reinstall zip you might have to download it all over again here http://www.perfectworld.com/download click direct download. I'm sorry if I didnt tell you what you wanted to hear.     hmm well the patcher works and installed perfectly, it's just when I click start and the client starts running the server list doesn't show ping or status and when I put in username and pass before it even verifies it says "cannot connect to server" in less than a second for both servers

    What server names is it showing for you?
