Unable to sell

Hi everyone. Here's my question :
When someone is in "vending state" and wants to buy something, I'm not able to offer him my own items. Drag and drop, from my inventory to the bottom-right part of the vending window doesn't seem to work.
At first I tought I had to provide the full quantity of what the guy wants in 1 time but even if I have more stuff than what he wants, it still doesn't work.
What am I doing wrong?

    You need to drag your item on top of his, not into the blank selling area. After you do that, it'll let you decide how much you'd like to give then that will be moved to the lower area for selling.
