Humans...?

Does the human race have any special abilities.

All classes can fly at lvl 30 I believe, but elves have the advantage of flight at lvl 1. Untamed can transform into a beast that seems to allow faster travel speed...and they also get pets at lvl 3 (if you're a venomancer). Does the human race have any special abilities?

I am curious because I want to know what to make for the OB. So far, I see the untamed Venomancers as having quite the advantage...as long as they have a good pet. The elves have ranged attacks that can be taken advantage of because they can fly, but venos and wizards obviously can combat that. Wizards can deal quite a bit of damage, but the veno has its own attack plus a pet to more than make up for that. The only problem with the Veno is the low def, which isn't a problem since the pet holds aggro...unless we are talking about PK.

Prove me wrong...I really want to play as more than just an untamed...but as of yet, its the only race that I have played as and really liked.

I haven't played a human much myself but one thing about Venomancers.

Sure, the pet holds agro but if the pet needs healing, and you heal it when it's fighting, the monster automatically agros YOU.

IDK what you mean by "special" advantages, every class has it's own special things in balance.
I THINK since you're talking about wizards in a high tone, you mean do blademasters have a special advantage? Because wizards are human too. So if you are talking about blademasters, they get to use a variety of weapons, they can tank, they get the second most HP and a lot of very useful skills. Blademasters are sort of an all-around class, they're good at everything, but they're not the best at anything either.

Sorry to double post but I just noticed this...
The elves have ranged attacks that can be taken advantage of because they can fly,

For one, all classes can fly, and all classes have ranged attacks. Second, elves can't take advantage of hitting mobs without retaliation, just as all other classes can't. If you hit a monster and it can't hit you back, it will run back and recharge its HP in about a second.

With the healing its fine if the pet is tanking one of a mob, but if theres any more attacking the pet, then you will get attacked.

There is a method known as "luring" to drag a single critter from a bunch (and it works well in the caves with practice). 1st have the pet attack it, then cancel the pet and then bring it out again and start attacking - just make sure you are at a distance when you do this to give the pet time to respawn then attack the mob again. Hotkey the pets icon from the backpack and youre away :)

Ok...so it seems I wasn't as clear as I should have been...

First of all, I know all races can fly, but elves can at lvl 1. Also, the elves' flight comes from their own wings and not a mount. All races can have pets but venomancers can get them at lvl 3...and they can also transform. Its a perk of the race if you ask me. I wanted to know if humans had a perk(s) like the other two races do.

As for retalitation...that's a given, and I know about the hp regeneration of mobs. What I was talking about was the advantage elves have in LOW LVL dueling. Plenty of times I have seen two people duel and when the elf starts to take too many hits, he/she takes to the sky and unloads with ranged attacks.

I am a veno, I know you gain aggro from healing your pet...hell, most games are like that. However, you don't always gain it. In fact, I often hang back and heal when when I get bored of attacking. I rarely gain aggro during such times....RARELY.

Oh...and the advantage I was talking about for the Veno's fast lvling and gold accumulation, since it is what I generally worry about for my main. I know what I want for a PK character...and a Veno sure isn't it.
