PWI fails to program a REAL working counter

So I'm on GMT-5 And I was waiting excited as the counter reaches 0. I log in, fail and my friend says we've got 3 more hours to go.

I express my frustration and dissappointment towards the PWI team for not making a WORKING COUNTER. If its gonna use your computer time, then its an EASY task at least making the time appear right.

THEN my friend tells me its starting in 4 minutes as I get naked and hops onto bed. Its definitely not a good way to start the most anticipated CB. Perhaps I was hoping too much for them to start right when the counter reach 0? So much for a "perfect" world.

    Well if you're gonna program a counter you can just make it right instead of saying ooops sorry. Its only a few lines of code change in the Javascript.

    I am pretty sure you know all there is to know about scripting, and its just so simple to you.

    great another person who can't stop to think about what the PWI staff has done to make all of this happen for us and instead have a little stupid complaining issue because of his excitement about the game opening for the first time. how about we all just dont post in this thread to avoid another flame war huh?

    Of course! The clock is the most important part of the game lol. Seriously, why fix something that'll be useless in a few hours.

    Now that I think about it, two times within the past few days my clock went back three hours (That never happens to me)...Did anyone else get that? lol

    had the same problem for the Rohan Open beta when they had a countdown. The script is based off of the time zone you are at, so naturally when it counts down to 0 that will be 12AM your time, not the time the server will be up. Not sure how that can be fixed if at all possible.
