I heard it was more Quest-related and that it had a plot...

I hate grinding, played another MMORPG, the main thing was grinding, I hope this game isn't like that too...

It's quest heavy at first. You'll start to notice fewer and fewer quests though (at 40, then 60, then 70, then 80, etc.). Past 70, it's almost pure grind, with quests giving at most 25% of your exp per level, and that's being way generous and if you take several days to do repeatable daily quests. A lot of people just stopped doing quests around that point just because the time invested and return exp is so minimal (except for the repeatable dailies).

Not sure what plot you're talking about...I've never even seen the semblance of one. There's a game setting background so there's some sort of justification for the monsters you encounter...but....there's nothing that actually advances the storyline or anything....

...or maybe that's just because the quest descriptions were so incomprehensible in PW-MY that I didn't bother reading any of them...

imo, even if you had to grind a lot in this game I still wouldn't mind.

Yeah very grindy later but the good thing about this game is it gives you OPTIONS

You can make aoe parties, you can solo exp, you can do daily quests + dragon quests, you can help lower lvls with fbs which also gives great exp (its based on lvl so it scales up)

Basically you can get lvl 100 without killing a single monster after 30, its actually possible lol

In fact with quest you won't have to grind before lvl 50... After that you start to don't have enought quest, then when you reach lvl 60, you really need to AOE to lvl up fast... And when you finally reach lvl 80, 80 to 90 is so damn long, and 90 to 100.... lol

There's a quest that you get daily where you just turn in some fairly cheap items. (At lvl 60 you only spend about...15-25k can't remember right now, but still cheap) And it gives like 10%. (Lower lvl you get more exp, and higher lvl probably a lil bit less.) You can do this infinite times, but only once a day.

There's also something called a 'dragon quest.' You get different dragon quest items from litterally almost every enemy in the game after like lvl 10. You get a dragon quest at lvl 19, 29, 39, 49, 59, 69, 79, 89...dunno about 99. You need to collect a certain amount of six dragon quest items for each DQ. ( There's 6 dq 19's, 6 dq 29's ect...) You go around talking to a bunch of people as you are instructed, and end up having to turn in a few of the dq items to different people, and in the end kill a boss. You get an item called a 'dragon tablet' , exp, and sxp in the end, and a good amount. -You'll learn what to do with the tablets in the game. You can do DQs infinite times in the game.

Sorry if DQ part sounds complicated lol, but it's easy and you'll figure it out in game I promise. :-)

Either way just saying, you can get through the whole game w/o grinding, long as you have time and a whole lotta DQ items. ^^

I got to lvl 64 and never AOEd once...and still have/had like 12 quests to do. -But I did a lot of repeat quests in my previous reply.

But yeah every class gets one or more AOE skill.
