    im probably going to be creating my character for at least 1hr-2hrs >.<

    Yesh, me too. But as far as I know you can edit your char after creation again for a while. So fast creation for getting the name, and then customizing! If not, please correct me.

    Hmmm.. Well I hope we can still change it two days after we make it like in the other versions. .....I wanna just run around and get my character created already! Then after I'm satisfied frolicking I'll settle down and make her my own. ;)

    I am sumwhat confused as the servers go live in 3 hours 50 minutes? Yet here in the UK I have to wait until 8 am tomorrow? Which is about 14 hours?

    Surely if the server goes live in just under 4 hours I should be playing at midnight as it is just gone 8pm here!

    Or is the countdown to the 19th August and not server start time?

    The countdown simply uses your PC's system clock to count down to midnight, whatever timezone you're in.

    The beta will actually start at midnight PDT, which is 8 hours behind the UK. So it's 8:00am for you. :)

    No but seriously, Im shocked with the lack of IQ in this forum... Its mindblowing... Here you have a thread which SPECIFICALLY states the time at which the beta starts, RIGHT IN THE FIRST POST, and yet people still dont get it

    Anyway, I wont spend any time making chars cuz I took care of that in my-en and I already copied all the presets to the international folder! YAY just need to name them and Im set

    I thought about it but I was too lazy to find out if it was actually plausible.

    And I just deleted my MY-EN folder.

    Y'know an official response like this on a subject that every noob and his sister has been asking about here in a dozen threads seems worthy of that lil "Official Announcements" forum that's still collecting dust.

    Considering this poor moderator has been having to lock and link to this topic all over the place today, it's not a case of it being more easily seen here. Nobody looks, but a new (and only) topic in announcements might have prevented some of this.

    Anyway, opinion for what it's worth. Why have the forums sit with 0 posts forever? IMO there's half a dozen topics in general that belong there, and stickies could always be cross posted for more visibility.

    no just that if you look on the site and it says X time and your frieds says Y time and here it says Z time it can be a little weird. and a simple update on the main page would fix most of the people asking when are they open.
    i didnt ask what time is it open, i just pointed out that me and a friend have 2 different timers on the web page
