Won't open file.

When i download it and go to open it, it says not enough memory to process this command. i have like 95gigs left on my computer. Also when i go to the folder where i downloaded it, it's not a zipped file it's a file with the u torrent symbol on it, for some reason everything i download has this symbol on it and doesn't work. I don't understand why my regular downloads are coming out as utorrent files how can i fix this?
