    No AA > bad
    JPG > bad
    Probably no AF > bad

    Thanks for coming up with this topic. I was beginning to be annoyed by new users saying the game looked bad in graphics. It's nice someone lets them know.

    AA = Anti Aliasing
    AF = Anisotropic Filtering

    Nice photos by all. I ran PW wide screen with the highest graphics setting and was pleased with the result. A few people that I know dissed the graphics, but to be honest it sounded more like hate than unbiased opinion.

    I've been away from the game for months (It's summer and staying inside is a no-no as far as I'm concerned), but summer is coming to a close and seeing these photos are making me want back in.

    tip for people with good pcs and want to enhance the graphical reality of Perfect World.

    In the ini file you can set the distance range of seen objects/land to 5 rather then 4.

    It makes quite a big difference

    Explain further? What .ini file? Where?

    Don't remember. I don't think it is, but I'm not redownloading PW-MY to find out. I think this was before I got my new computer, So probly I had a few things down/off, That was more or less just for the scenery. Even those screens are better graphics than any other F2P mmo, and this games graphics destroy WoW's graphics. But yeah, Now that I look into, i don't think that is full graphics.

    Some people with bad computers are not allowed to put full graphic all the way.
    Btw graphics are good but i suggest you only put full graphic when taking a pic not in gameplay.
    My computer can handle it, it just 4 hours later a freaking report bug comes:mad:
    Well just thought i should share.

    I always keep mine at high resolution and maximum graphics. LOL no lag.

    This game's graphics are ****.

    Using your **** low res makes it look better than it really is, using glow aka blur makes it look worse, not using AA or AF makes it look worse too.

    Screens taken with 16AF, game settings to 5 in the ini, 8xQ AA, various driver settings that actually made the game **** my pc to hell and back.
    edit: wtf. no idea how the hell the 3rd got resized

    Ughhh dunno what youve been drinking but glow makes it look much better, just like in Guild Wars

    Without glow it looks kinda dead, the fun is in the dreamy look

    "Glow" = BLUR = G A Y

    HDR > that **** but this game is freaking ancient. I'll pass on settings that reduce graphic quality. Glow looks like someone implemented a jpeg artifact creation filter into the game.

    Yup. This is what convinced me to opt in to beta.

    Video settings at full with great FPS should be how video games are played.
    In other words, NO video settings.
    Oh if only RAM and Graphic Cards would be much cheaper XD.

    I still find the graphics of this game amazing. Your bad attitude doesn't stunt me any. I especially like the deserts and ice lands. PW did a good job with those..

    Honestly... With all these Americans coming to PW, the friendliness of the community might suffer a bit..

    What a pity for you, GTFO if you hate the game so much

    Ill be enjoying the awesome graphics with glow while you complain about **** (and your screens are way worse just because the lack glow, the dif is obvious)

    And if you think this game looks bad, youd probably die looking at Wow or any free mmorpgs out there
