Shortcut Icon being weird!!

well i installed perfect world :) (only a few more days to go)
and i have a shortcut created but theres a weird "shield" shaped icon on top of it! im kind of a perfectionist and its annoying!! it just stares at me!!
i use vista home premium
can anyone tell me how to remove it!!!

    If it works, don't try and fix it. If you have a problem, blame Vista.

    its your security just ignore it

    edit basicly makes computer ask you for permission before it starts using it

    it's an indication that Vista's Firewall is protecting your PW.
    it's nothing really, sometimes it might ask you to answer a few question.

    you'll be fine xD
    if it bugs you too much
    go to control panel and disable your firewall, BUT BE WARNED!!! it's not recommended, unless you have an external firewall protecting your system.

    i use this firewall called "Zone Alarm" and it totally kicks butt!

    Don't put the security of your system in the hands of Windows firewall or defender.

    Wrong. It's the indication the program needs administrator privileges to run, as already said by emir

    yep, vista is different :p
    i just turned UAC off, it's annoying like hell, just like the root password prompts on linux
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    oh yea thats very annoying in linux.
    i never used vista, my friend said it sucks don't bother i took his word, because i trust him more than i trust bill gates ;)

    It's the indication the program needs administrator privileges to run because the program need to write on your hard disk.

    That my friend is that that you can only run it as admin, no biggy just say I allow this program.
    I don't use a signature.... I'm just cool like that!:cool:

    To be honest, everyone/the person who said it was the vista firewall protecting, their wrong, its a sign thats showing that the Vista UAC (User account Control) is blocking it, so you cant run it without administrator priviliges....Or just disable the UAC, go to control panel and coose user accounts, then choose "Turn UAC on/off" then uncheck the box that appears then reboot, if it isnt gone, thats a vista bug that remains to be fixed, some other "Shield Icons" Shuld be gone tho, mine are, atleast xD

    On old hardware, yes, Vista sucks. But on the other hand, do you expect Crysis to run @very high settings on an onboard graphic chip?

    The point about Vista is, it's very different from XP. And too many users don't understand this, so they say it sucks.

    For me it runs more stable than XP on my 6 month old laptop and is as fast as XP, in some cases even faster. I rather not start the "why does Vista [not] suck" discussion again, or else i might as well start copy&pasting all my arguments from other threads & forums <.<

    If I ever ended up with Vista, that's exactly what I would do too. :)

    Hell, I even try to keep WinXP looking as much as Win98 as possible. XD

    Crysis is dam resource hungry, i have F.E.A.R running at max setting on my PC (my mom plays it)
    i just never bought Crysis or vista ^^ i get free games now anyway.
    i might try it one day, when my boss says I'm no longer allowed to use XP
