Will There Ever Be PvP Rewards?

Right now it seems pvp is not very good. If you kill people your name goes red, you cant talk to certain npcs, and that kinda sucks. Why have pvp and get punished for it? I think we should be rewarded for pvping on a pvp server. Let us gain experience from pks. Add some pk points and a merchant to spend them at so we can buy cool gear, and items. :D

    Agreed... though PKing is an accepted concept, it is still a negatively accepted concept, as in it is still considered bad. (True) PKers are in it for the thrill of the kill or to get revenge, and shouldn't be rewarded...

    That being said, I woulldnt mind if there was a reward, as long as it was a small one and not a added incentive to pking. Like if it was gold, make the victim drop 1% or if it was exp, allow the pker to get very minimum exp. that away it adds another element to the game, without giving everyone an incentive to pk. Just enough drama to make the game fun, not enough to make it sloppy.


    The red name should still apply, and if your going to add the incentive listed above, then red name characters when PKKd should lose 10% of their gold. add a little reward, a bit more risk, and all the real PKers will still pk while the others will fall off.

    Also, making it a five person kill limit to get red name wouldnt be so bad either if this system was implemented. or a system like this..

    1 kill = pink name = 1% gold drop (same as white name)
    2 kill = slightly darker pink = 2% gold drop if killed
    3 kill = light red name = 5% gold drop if killed
    4 kill = red name = 7% gold drop if killed
    5 kill or more = dark red name = 10% gold drop if killed
    50 killz or more = black name = your a god and should be served... 80% of victims gold and two items go to you, but if you are killed you lose 100% of gold carried, and 1 item (not even quest items excluded)

    I'm slightly confused about what exactly you're trying to say, but if I'm understanding you correctly...what you're suggesting is a complete crock of ****. Firstly, I don't know if you were aware of this or not, but there already is an item drop system for people who are red name pink name light red name, whatever.

    Secondly, this system would be so easily circumvented by just putting gold into the bank.

    How about you go get some first hand knowledge about the game before suggesting such silly ideas.

    Only some people will the majority won't. You can fit 2 billion into your bank.

    I don't see how you can dismiss him based on post count.

    In my opinion loktoris has a valid point. The general lay out of your idea is nice though sigoh.

    loktoris is raising the point that without the chance to lose an item included in your plan people will dodge all the loses by putting all their gold into the bank when they pk and just carry gold when they wait out the time on their different colored names.

    PK is a type of PvP

    It's called a pvp tournament. Other than that, there will prb not be any rewards for pvp.

    here is a thought since there is already a arena for pvping. why not add in a pvp weekend event and there can be cash and prizes for the winners and those that want to participate can pay a entry fee. also i think that there should be combat npc's when there are territory wars that drop certain exclusive items for those pvping. as for the red named pkers maybe there can be a way to get there name back to normal like a few high lvl quests they have to do. and the pk points isnt a bad idea for either server. the points could be spent to get equipment that cant be droped if the pker gets killed by another player when red named. that way he still has equipment to fight/lvl with. the catch to that is anything else on his person including cash would be dropped. could also add in a few group pvp arena's that give arena points for arena gear at a certain npc shop. could also add in a 2v2 3v3 4v4 5v5 arena that gives special pvp titles to the wining teams and make the scores reset every 3-6 months and the top 5 teams would get the special titles. could add in a special prize for the top3 and it could be a special non combatant pet that you can only get from these arena's.

    Wowzers...50 kills...and you get 80% gold and 2 items...at a loss of only 100% gold and 1 item if you die?........seems like its time for everyone to stock up on rank items >.>.... Absolutely ridiculas.

    On the pvp server, most likely 1 person will shoot up in levels, and become dominantly strong, and thus making your idea pure silliness. The 1% drop on whites is already somewhat~ dangerous, since its usually just a random PK. The 100% drop on a red name is already fine, and the rewards are usually quite good. 80% gold drop, and TWO items on a kill? Right...so your suggesting ONE pk = killing a HH boss lol.

    (For those saying getting 50 kills isn't easy, then you've NEVER played in a new server, there is usually a group of people, or at least 1 that play 24/7 and shoot up to lvl 50 before there are even lvl 10s. *exaggeration* and they will dominate everyone without them being able to do things back, at least with the current set up, worst that can happen is basically 1 dropped item, which is also usually a good reward as well)

    In ADC there is an NPC that allow you to bind your equipment so it will never drop, like the military stuff.

    its useless just because when you bind an equipment you cant refine it afterwards.

    no surprise that a guild will support it considering when they turn red they just go into there groups and no one will dare attk unles they got a stronger guild which at the beginning of the game will be very hard to find

    Then once a stronger guild does form RageQuit will just...Quit. XD Nothing new there though right?
