How much are you willing to spend on cash shop?

So there have been a couple of threads on how expensive cubis (or whatever they're called now) are in this version. My question: How much is everyone willing to spend per month on them? $10? $40?

When I played EP before, I was burning at least one gold MP heiro per day at lvl 80ish. Those cost about $1 for me, so it wasn't exactly horrible. :S However, my budget for games is pretty small and I can only really spend like 20-30 dollars monthly, including fashion, mounts, stones, etc. If the price for cubis goes up by a lot, I don't think I'll be buying much -- or any at all, for that matter.

My plan would be to do a minimun donation.. or maybe if there is a afordable vlaue for money one.. do that. Then start selling and buying cubi in game to try and work my way up to a good amount of money. It just takes a LOT longer than simply buying a few 1000.

I need a $220 pair of headphones, and then an ESI juli@ soundcard, good luck getting any cash out of this furf**.
And yeah, if the shop is more expensive... fail. If it's more expensive than MY i might not even play at all.

The more expensive the cash shop, the less I'm willing to buy. So if it's same/near the MY version, probably nothing.

Most people think spending money is only way to get cubi, but its too early to talk about that.
For the other PW servers you have no choice but to buy cubi with real money because of the economy.
This server I dont think the economy will be too bad in the beginning. So i jus perfer to get rich from selling HH, herb, molders, and War money.
After that I will buy from auction mall.
Well to answer your question if the economy got bad in my point of view I would spend 50$ for the game each month.

I would probably burn 30$ a month but make that 60$ if you can buy gold directly. I can't stand farming, I'll take the easy way out anyday.

Planning on buying nothing with real life cash, too much of a hassle to setup paypal or whatever. Call me a freeloader but in order for the cash shop to work, the items sold must have real (virtual) value... so some people need to be buying them second hand :)

I would pay if the prices are close to MY-EN, around $30 for 100cubi/zen.

Ingame cubi buying is really unreliable, I find. Sometimes the economy is really horrible and prices jump and drop randomly. I've seen cubi selling for more than 800k apiece. (Mind you, this was on a money-drop enhanced server, but it was still beyond affordable.) Here's hoping the pricing on this server isn't gonna be so ****ed up.

Nothing wrong with that. The game IS free to play afterall.

I will definitely buy what I consider essential : a pet mount, inventory and storage extensions, pet cages, life hieorgrams. The rest, it will depends of the relative value of the ZEN vs the prices in the cash shop.

Yeah, I usually don't spend more than $25 on MMORPGs unless the cash shop is cheap. I tend to spend a lot more cause it's so tempting to buy more cause prices are so cheap =( But if they're expensive, I'm like "Hmm, pizza or a piece of usable item..." or "Get a PSP or this..." lol yeah...

I never had a problem catching up to Cash Shop players though, unless it's incredibly unbalance.

If prices are cheap - I'd spend a lot more in this game that's for sure.

It's pretty cash shop heavy. You might have a problem in this game, unless you have a lot of gold.

Gold shouldn't be an issue in this game.

Let's just hope the CS is cheap, even cheaper than MY-EN and I'll love International. But that is doubtful.

Trust me, if Cash Shop items are cheap as well. Anyone that has not ever spend a penny in MMORPG will start spending a **** load for this MMO. Cheap prices and good benefits = huge profit. It's way too tempting to buy stuff, it's like shopping iRL, but extra cheap and last long enough to enjoy your gaming life. No idea why International versions never thought about that, no International version so far that is.

I thought I paid much for my two EVE Online subscriptions, but you guys seem to spend more money a month on this supposedly free game. I played the MY-EN version for a couple of hours and it seemed okey, but if I have to pay that much I'm not going to play this game. I don't understand how anyone could spend 150 dollars a month on a game, any game...

Is it possible to enjoy the game without buying coins or at least spend less than 10 dollars a month?

Yes. However, you will have a slightly harder time. You can also buy cash items with ingame gold, so real-life money isn't a necessity.
