I'm curious! What do YOU think of Perfect World?

What do you like best about it?
What do you like least about it? ):
If you haven't played any actual versions yet, what do you think you'll like or dislike?


:D Even though I just love RPGs and MMORPGs, the thing that keeps me coming back to Perfect World in particular is, simply, being able to swim, and fly, and run and jump in all sorts of places.
I love that the whole world is big and pretty. (:

And, of course, the character customization is a big plus.


I can't say that there's anything in particular that I dislike about it that the international version won't fix (specifically, translation).

    the best part? character customization of course^_^ no more preset 3 faces to choose from ><;; i can actually make a decent looking character ha :)
    least part: the lag, but thats all resolved :D
    um PW-MY was too laggy for me.. PWI will be much better.

    What do you like best about? Custimization, you get to be half-animal cuteness, and I just like the graphics and everything. Like, it doesn't bore me. I get bored of games quick, but not PW.

    I like how advanced the guild system/territory wars/pvp is.

    My least favorite is eunice sometimes doesn't give you the quest arrow!
    I actually cant find something i really dislike about this game, its great^^

    I love the awesome PK/TW the most. Customization is a really close 2nd, though.
    Least? Well, I don't like carebears.

    I'm new and played once PW for 5 minutes on an old PC & the graphics were awful, lets see what happens with this new PC.

    & I love the character customazation (can't get in any other 'likes' since I only played 5 minutes)

    There are lots of this to like in this game. For a F2P ganme, it have lots of stuff included.

    Only thing I dislike are the drop tables. You know that you'll never get anything better than crappy 1* wepons and armors from regular mobs.

    In other games you have a slim chance to drop something good. In Guild Wars for exemple every monster have a chance to drop gold, blue or violet items. Granted, most of them where not good anyway, but sometimes you were able to recycle a nice mod from one. Here... nah. You drop useless weapons and armors all the time. Only the FB boss drops nice stuff.

    It remove some fun from the game. Knowing that you can drop something good put fun into grinding. Everytime something drop, you are eager to see what it is. In PW.. many people don't even bother to pick them up....

    I hear there's a gold item(Simian Kaiser's Helmet) dropped randomly from 80-90 level mobs. It's very rare - only one exists so far, and it's very excellent for stats.

    almost every mmo has those :( it sucks
    but it looks like these GM's look like their gonna do their job^^

    I HATE BOTS! Silk Road had too much, so I left because of it and a few ohter reasons. Rappelz has no bots except gold sellers....yuck. When I get to 30 I will KOS any bot!!

    The best part of Perfect World has to be the character customization, in combination with the ability to really go anywhere in the world, fly or swim. I also like the fact that there are two options, PvP and PvE. This unites the community in my opinion and makes social interaction much more frequent and enjoyable.

    i am really curious, though i made i little mistake in the registrations, and i am too lazy to change it, i am curious :P,
    i have a beta key, and i wish to be one of the first one that plays this game, with others afcourse xD,

    i hope that no cheater has a beta key, because they will ruin the game at once,
    i really am seeing forward on creating my complete costum character :D

    What I like
    The feature that really sets it apart is great character customization. I hate entering a city to see my 350 clones xD

    I like the map; it's well designed, and the graphics overall are nice.

    I like the music, but there is not enough songs so I end up turning it off, else it becomes repetitive quite fast -_-

    I like all the communication possibilities: normal chat, party chat, guild chat, whisper, ingame mail, chat rooms and world chat.

    I like the freedom we have to move around in this game.


    What I dislike
    Some bosses have simply too much HP. I mean, you know you you will win easily, but you end up bashing at them for 20+ mins =_= (I was thinking about HH1-2 armor boss, but I'm sure it's not the only one).

    Not enough music!

    Endgame quests: instead of getting a few quests asking to kill 30-35 enemies, you get very few quests asking you to kill 70+ of the same enemies =_= This gets long after a bit. The daily quests aren't really fun. Especially World Quest, which is always the same, and takes long to do. I wish they would change these quests once in a while. Because it gets repetitive too.

    Dislikes:
    -Partying doesnt really have the kinda benefits you'd hope for. Most players stick to soloing.
    -The search system in the AH isnt so great, I Liked the one in Sword of the new world.
    -I hate dolls :P

    What? No high level dungeons to party in? That is against all known MMORPG standards of what works.

    Nope there are high-level dungeons. He means for killing mobs and you party you don't get any benefits except more people.

    What's this "Endgame" talk, as if this game is not open-ended. Is this game like Guild Wars, and has a Primary Storyline? On the homepage of this game under features it says that new dungeons, items, etc, will be added as a patch over time!

    No, there is no final boss to kill and then pop up the final cinematic. You simply continue to level up.

    Over time, yes. The chinese server got/are going to have a new expension with new land and race/professions. No idea when this one will make it here tho.

    I can't say that there's anything in particular that I dislike about it that the international version won't fix (specifically, translation).

    Based on the current version I would have to say least to be broken english and most to be visuals. Textures could use some work but the effects help conceal them.

    I've played official MY-EN as well as several private servers.

    What I like best.......There are so many good points to this game that I can't name them all. The customization, the dungeons, the play style, the quest system, you name it, its probably the best Ive seen and the most fun to play.

    What I don't like......The kill exp is set WAY too low and therefore you are forced to quest to level. Constant questing in any game gets old, there has to be a better mix of quest exp and grind exp. Also, this game has major hacking issues because it has been around for over 2 years in the original Chinese version. No matter where I played, I found one common denominator...MASSIVE HACKING. Wall hacks, cash shop hacks, jump hacks, I lost track of all the issues caused by all these hacks. The problem is, MANY people already have these hacks, especially the people that play/played the original Chinese version. This doesnt even start to talk about the problems of Bots, which are another huge issue here. By the time the normal player is level is 40, there will be lvl 80+ hackers ruining the server. As far as I can tell PWI has taken no steps to further protect the server from these people. So I guess Im asking for better **** protection.

    Most hacks are hard to detect. Most of the time, you need to catch them in the act. And for that you need lots of GMs.

    And also the will to eradicate them.

    When you see some **** like what is currently happening on the MY-EN servers....

    Some guys have been caught using jump **** in HH-99.

    Sentence : a few days ban....

    I hope they will hit them harder here.

    What needs to be done is make everything serverside so hacking can't be possible in the first place.

    Having anything abusable clientside is like saying HAY GUYZ COME RULE THE SERVER WITH YOUR LEET CODING SKILLZ (or by leeching someone else's).
