Full agi werebeast using bows.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

full agi mage with hammer[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Full int barbarian, obviously. The attack speed is better if you use magic sword, but you hit harder with a staff, but a bit slower.0

No way. The staff might hit faster, but there's no way it could compare to the range that the bow has. If your opponent starts running it doesn't matter what your attack speed is if you can't catch him.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Lmao yah a wb with a bow XD me a lvl 84 ea lost to a lvl87 wb with a bow lol he has like a 200agi and me i cant even kill him with phy hits cause his heavy armor and thunder takes alot cooldown time lol so he wins. Just the real bad part on him is his hp is really low from other wbs but still alot agi he wont miss alot and he wont get hit much.0
-
Actually, pure int WBs with a bow are the best hunting class.0
-
Well, I wouldn't say pure int. You have to strike a balance between weapon and armor of course. I suggest using minimum agi for the bow and then the rest into int / str and using robes that are a grade lower than what you're supposed to be using.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
-
full con EP + fist wep = full int WB + bow
either way you got a winner[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
What are u guys **** ?
y doesn;t any 1 mention a full int warrior with the 90 hh golden quilt ??
it;s a beast it comes along and rip ur heads of.. but sure full agi ep can own 20 -
Wow, this entire thread is a joke.
Trust me the best hunting class is a Robe EA, just ignore the rest of these idiots.0 -
You guys obviously don't know the true power of a pure agi mage with hammers... Get some skill..[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
-
Str/int archers are also great hunters if you equip them with a staff0

I can't believe what I'm reading..
High INT with a bow is a terrible idea for a WB. You wouldn't even be able to use skills. I suppose you could tank mage hits, but I still have doubt it would do well.
Don't believe these people.0 -

I would tell you to kill yourself but that doesn't quite cover it.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
I would tell you to kill yourself but that doesn't quite cover it.
Or you could explain to me the meaning of the build.. Which you probably can't.
However, if telling me to kill my self doesn't cover it (cover what?), you could tell me to build a full INT WB with a bow before you tell me to kill myself. That would work.0 -
I didn't mean full int, sorry. I should have said majority int to keep up with robes, and the rest into agi/str for bow requirements and armor requirements for strength. For a werebeast, their damage doesn't matter so much so you can use a lower grade bow.
Now here's the beauty. The bow wielding robe using werebeast would be a beast at magic tanking. By using robes, you can force magic mobs to spam magic, which of course, since you're in robes, does next to nothing. Better yet, since you're a werebeast, you get so much hp from every level up that you will have as much hp than a mage that puts everything he can into con. At the most, a mage can only put in 3 con every 2 levels, due to having to put in 6 int every 2 levels and 1 str every 2 levels to keep up with their equipment requirements. A werebeast gains +34 hp per level, while a mage only gains +20. So in 2 levels, a werebeast has +68 hp while a mage that puts every spare point he can into con will only have +70. Small difference right? Now if you're willing to sacrifice just ONE grade of your weapon, you can suddenly have a couple more points to add into con, which adds a whopping +17 hp compared to a mage's pitiable +10. This isn't even counting the Werebeast's HP buff which when maxed adds +30% hp. Werebeasts also get a passive ability to push HP regen +20! This amazing passive regen can help a werebeast regain full hp in mere seconds of sitting, while a mage who only has a BASE regen of +1 a second will have to sit around crying about how his hp regens like a turtle.
The werebeast then, would only have slightly less magic defense than the mage while still having significantly more hp. Now, a mage acts as a tank by keeping magic bosses at length, so a werebeast can emulate this by using a bow. Being forced to use a lower grade bow is perfectly fine, as werebeasts still get a buff that adds 30% physical damage, effectively making the lower grade bow equivalent to a current grade bow.
What more could you ask for? You talk about "not being able to use skills" but melee skills are pointless anyway and should be avoided. The most important skill of course, is fury burst. Werebeasts have amazing fury gain, as evidenced by their skill that increases vigor everytime you get hit in addition to your own attacks! A bow would also attack faster than axes, allowing for better vigor gain, which in turn allows for more fury bursts![SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -

..... Whoa.. Really strange, yet really awesome.. I was hoping someone could explain this to me. So thanks. Sorry about the little scene earlier. But anyway, I was thinking of a new character to make for the international version, and now that you explained this to me, it catches my interest. Would you recommend this build idea for a "newby" to the international version? So I should keep up with the robes but only get the first available bow? Or should I get like rank 2-3 bow? And also, what would a a WB of this build be used for (what is hunting)? Would you recommend a dual armor combo?0 -

It's probably the most recommended as well as the most common and effective even at end game.0 -

What did u think course it makes loads of money y would u think people use the build so much :S
this build stays 1 of my very favorite but i think ima try a alternative char with other build 1 less common0 -
c453m4573r wrote: »Hmm. Common, eh? Well so much for doing something different. But anyway, I assume that hunting means boss hunting, which indicates this build must make quite a lot of money, right?
Yup. With that build you should be capable of tanking FB19 Solo at level 10.
EDIT: this topic has so many great ideas in it, i vote for sticky tbh.0 -

So, the stat build is enough INT for robe under the regular, and enough STR/AGI for a bow rank 1?Oh yes. And how does the damage feel, or does it even matter?0 -
Well, you may want a higher rank bow for damage. As amazing as the buffs the werebeast has are, 30% additional attack is affected more by a higher rank bow of course. I would suggest putting a 0 con build, keeping up to date with armor and the rest into agi to use as strong as a bow as you like, but if you want to become a better magic tank, you can sacrifice a bit of agi to con and use a bow a rank or two lower than what you would have used normally.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Well, I would intend to do good damage, but I'd need good tanking too. Maybe I'll just get as much INT as I need for robes, and get AGI for bows. But wait, don't bows have STR requirements?0 -
Yes, but they're very minimal. Robes have str requirements too, I think it comes out to 1 str point every 2 levels.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Solo'ing would be a hiero ****, you should always have a priest with you. This build could do a couple HH bosses easier than a convetional WB can, such as magic only bosses like Colossus and Asura. Molder runs would also be easier since you can force bosses into spamming magic onto your robes rather than the usual devastating melee + magic combos they do.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

Hmm. Massive hiero consumption for the soloing, eh? If I wanna make great cash, should I just get a WF? Since it doesn't seem as though this would make as much money. But it does seem a bit cooler than WF.0
