Party system?

I was wondering as a cleric would partnering with a high lvl (higher than yourself) and healing/buffing get you exp. Also known as PowerLvling. Is that going to be possible

No, it will not. The experience you will receive will be extremely minimal due to the (assumed) large level gap.

If you are killing mobs your level and you are partied with a high level you will get a very low amount of xp.

Exp gets split relative to levels, so you'll be getting minimal exp per kill. Questing will get you levels much faster.

Even one level difference, and we start getting like 1XP penalty per monster. Basically, the base amount of XP gained seems to depend on the highest level character in the party. I think being over 5-6 levels apart and there are some major penalties.

On the other hand, in a zhen/aoe party, it is a bonus xp wise to be the highest level character in the party.

But if you meant level cap, sealed has already answered your question ^_^.

and i'd like to know also. Most mmo's use 10 lvls for a 1:1 exp distribution. Since PW came out no one has ever been able to asnwer what the exp penalties for lvl ranges are.

It is possible to power lvl to some extent, if you are like 15lvl under the highest in a zen party you still get pretty good exp. We used to get noobies to loot for us while we went afk, sadly the whole party suffers exp penalty so this is only something you'd do for shecks or good friends.

*edit* Oh and also of course the party needs to select mobs thats in a good range, for exmaple if your party lvl range is from 45-60, you should kill something like lvl 55-60 mobs.
