Better trailer?

Just wondering why every version of perfect world makes trailers using in game video. I mean its cool and all but i think it could be waay better with like a regular game teaser trailer. like this game i think the perfect world company also made this game Zhu Xian Online and its trailer is actually looks real and good overall http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRGpoZ-2o_Q

    Honestly, i prefer to see what i will be getting ingame in a trailer than an idealized (CG rendered) version.
    It's nice to have something like that as an opening video ingame though.
    PW has been endless frustration for me #2

    Perfect World International prides itself on its graphics. I enjoy CG movies too, but we want people to see the game they're going to play, not the CG they'll press ESC on every time the game launches. ;)

    Was only a random thought.
    There are ways to show the opening movie only on the first launch of the game but i get your point.

    Yeah, I think seeing the game I'd be playing is better. I actually love PW's Trailer for that very reason. I mean it was an Ad Banner with the ingame graphics being used that caught my attention for this game in the first place.

    Generally hate Trailers and Ad's that use FMV's graphics to display the game. It's so deceptive when the FMV graphics draws your interest. Especially something you are going to rarely see anyway, nice aditive to show the variety in the game but sticking to content you are going to see much more is better imo.

    ya i like em to but you have to think the newbs only look for those high graphic trailers i mean you could look at any succesful mmo and they have CG movie trailers and all that whitch actually attracts more customers.

    Usually people that get attracted to a trailer would search on in game videos of the game itself

    If it's only the CG trailer that attracts them, they're better off watching movies/anime/CG

    There should be a higher quality trailer download though, the youtube "quality" is simply not enough.

    trailers waste time and should be in the "gameplay videos" section on the main page. I want there to be a little as possible time from doubleclicking the icon until im logged in the game. which reminds me, how about a nice "remmeber username and password" checkbox on the logon screen.
