will we get a different music selection in this version?

the music in PW-MY makes me terribly sleepy...lol
my friends turn the music vol down & play metal. that sucks.

battle music would be great...(it would give the player a real sense of danger & make for much more immersive gameplay)

im sure everyone wants this game to have a soundtrack they can actually listen to.

leave the lullaby music for COF or ADC or maybe bedtime...lol

    No all the versions have the same music....
    Some games have a mp3 player that will allow you to change the songs in the game, and you can add your songs in the playlist, instead of running another program like iTunes with the game that will cause your computer to run slower and more laggy, god I wish PW had that feature >.<

    So the only way is to turn off the Music in PW *you can leave the effects on if you want, like attack sounds, walking sounds,noises,etc* And play your songs on another program like Winamp, iTunes, or whatever you have.

    yeh, i know. thats what i have been doing since i started PW-MY...and i dont like to do it.

    all im trying to say is, this version of the game should have great background music, that will prevent the player from having to run their tunes in winamp.

    the score of a game should encourage players to play & enjoy the game, not put them to sleep.
    better music will provide a better overall game experience.

    great gameplay & graphics are indeed key elements of all games, but equally great audio is the third key element needed to connect / convey the story / situations of the game to the player, for that all round immersive gameplay experience, which is sadly lacking in PW & other mmos.

    What "great music" is, is very subjective. Every person has his/her own music taste - even if they might be similar for 2 people, they will still have different opinions on some tracks.

    Like i said, different tastes. I must admit i don't know what you are talking about :D
    I listen various types of music and whether i keep it on my playlist depends only on the music itself, not on the genre. So... there is no possible soundtrack that would satisfy my needs =P

    Sidenote: god my laptop needs a cooling pad T_T

    That song is horrible imo also..I always logged in as fast as I could so I wouldn't hear the singing :x

    if you really don't like the soundtrack, make your own:

    I don't know if anyone has tried grenado espada/sotnw here, not trying to advertise or w/e the game is a boring afk-fest anyways. BUT my point it that game has REALY great BG music, even the cheesy classic sections fit well with the maps its on. If you're looking for an example of how things are supposed to be done, go install the game just to hear the bg music.

    dude...i never said i want a metal soundtrack.

    all i said is, this game needs a better OST

    Me too! I usually need other media, like the radio or television to stay awake.

    My take is that the music is sleep inducing on purpose, so it can tranquilize the masses in China so that they don't want to revolt. Just kidding. I think the music is nice after a very stressful day. However, it can get very repetitive.

    From what I've heard, I WILL be playing the World of Warcraft soundtrack in the background.

    Yes I totally agree about the BGM in GE... I play that game all the time, one of my fave games.

    I dunno the music in PW doesn't sound too bad... I'll probably end up messing with the playlist eventually though... lmao and probably replace it with some of my fave GE stuff :D
