Idea Regarding Thread Creation Limits

Just an idea, but I think a thread creating limit should be given to each member of the forums to deter forum abuse. There's just too many threads floating around by certain users who are seemingly saturating the forums with redundant threads. This might give members more incentive to use the search function rather than create a new thread regarding a topic that already exists on the same page. 5-10 threads per month seems like a nice offering.
